Almost all products on the market are a lie. A lie because their true nature, ingredients and effects are not disclosed. If you could suddenly see what everything is really made of, and its long-term negative effects on the body, you would overhaul your cabinets immediately.
Because I am my primary guinea pig, my long experience is my evidence. Out of necessity, and a healthy understanding of how bloody dangerous everything seems to be, I am extreme. If you live on Planet Earth, it is impossible to avoid Earthlings. That's not what I intended to say, but it fits. This place can kill you if you just wander willy-nilly into any ol' place and eat any ol' thing. I had to change all products. Here are a few of the most effective substitutions:
Use Tom's of Maine toothpaste to brush the teeth, without fluoride, in pure water. (Don't believe the hype; fluoride is total poison and should not enter your body.) Wash your face with cool, pure water and Ayurvedic soap, and dry it with Seventh Generation paper (no chlorine or bleach). No tap water!
Use a shower head that eliminates chlorine and cooties from the tap water, once again using non-paraben soap. Dry off with Seventh Generation paper towels. Moisturize with Aqualin, which is one of the best products on the market. It's only ingredients are vegetable glycerin and special water. It's highly concentrated, cheap and marvelous. You should Google it; I get mine from a local health food store.
The clothes and towels can only be washed in Dr. Bronner's Castile soap, which is made from the hemp plant. I try to hang dry my clothes as much as possible, to avoid the positive ions generated by the machine drying process.
Sorry, no McD's, Taco Bell, Jack's, ad nauseum. Even Subway has nothing organic. If I want pasta salad, I buy organic spiral/vegetable pasta, organic broccoli, organic pimientos and sliced black olives, with Newman's Own organic Italian Dressing. It's just the best thing. Practically all food products have an organic counterpart, which is the only intelligent choice.
Those sheets you sleep on? Make sure they were washed in Castile Soap, so as to not poison you during the night.
Probably didn't hit everything - but that's a day in the life. You will witness your self-healing, and continued growth, by making these changes. You really have no other choice. Well, yeah, premature death. Change your products - immediately change your life.
